PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus preventing erroneous recognition of an ultrasonic probe.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus 1 includes: an ultrasonic probe 10 having a plurality of oscillators, a memory 23 storing probe identification information, a digitized generation part 19 generating a digitized electrical condition corresponding to the probe identifier; a probe identifier exchange part 41 exchanging the electrical condition to the probe identifier; a read-out part 43 reading out the probe identification information from the memory 23; a determination part 45 determining consistency between the exchanged probe identifier and the read-out probe identification information; and a warning output part 47 outputting a prescribed warning when the probe identifier and the probe identification information are inconsistent with each other in a determination result by the determination part 45.
