PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a level shift device in which power consumption is reduced, chip size is contracted, and a switching speed is enhanced.SOLUTION: A level shift device for converting an input signal having a low voltage level into an output signal having a high voltage level includes a latch type level shifter and a voltage generating section. The latch level shifter includes two upper pull-up p-channel transistors forming a latch structure, and two lower p-channel transistors for preventing gate-source voltage breakdown of the two upper pull-up p-channel transistors. The voltage generating section generates a voltage for preventing gate-source voltage breakdown of the two upper pull-up p-channel transistors, and supplies the voltage to a gate electrode of the two lower p-channel transistors. |
