PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boiler capable of acquiring desired dryness of steam by suppressing sloshing of a gas-liquid interface inside of upper headers without increasing a size of a boiler.SOLUTION: A boiler 1 includes: a can body 10 having a plurality of water pipes 12 vertically extended; lower headers 13 disposed below the plurality of water pipes 12 and connected to lower end portions of the plurality of water pipes 12; upper headers 14 disposed above the plurality of water pipes 12 and connected to upper end portions of the plurality of water pipes 12; and a burner 16 for heating the plurality of water pipes 12; and gas-liquid separation spaces 14A for separating the steam generated in the water pipes 12 from boiler water pushed up from the water pipes 12, are formed in the gas-liquid separation spaces 14A. Sloshing suppression plates 18 are further disposed below the gas-liquid interface AEF inside of the upper headers 14 to suppress sloshing of the boiler water pushed up from the water pipes 12. |
