PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card processing device and a computer program, capable of causing a user to recognize deterioration of a card.SOLUTION: A card processing device according to one embodiment includes a magnetic head, decoding means, and notification means. A magnetic head scans a magnetic material attached on a card so as to output a signal according to polarity change of the magnetic material. The decoding means decodes information written in the magnetic material on the basis of a signal output from the magnetic head. The notification means provides a notification of deterioration of a card when decoding by the decoding means has failed, and a reference value determined based on the intensity of a signal output from the magnetic head is smaller than a threshold value. |
