PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately suppress a noise component included in an output signal of a sensor outputting a signal corresponding to an operation of an engine while suppressing generation of a musical noise when producing a synthetic engine sound signal by processing an output signal of the sensor.SOLUTION: There is provided an engine sound processing device which produces a synthetic engine sound signal according to an output signal of a sensor that outputs a signal corresponding to an operation of an engine of a vehicle. The engine sound processing device includes: a plurality of noise suppression parts each of which converts the output signal of the sensor into a frequency domain signal, performs processing of suppressing a noise component on the result of the conversion, thereafter converts the resultant signal into a time domain signal, and outputs the time domain signal, and which have different frame sizes used when the output signal is converted into the frequency domain signal; and a noise-suppressed signal production part that mixes the output signals of the respective noise suppression parts and outputs the mixture. The output signal of the noise-suppressed signal production part is processed to produce the synthetic engine sound signal. |
