PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control apparatus for a cask that is detachable and separated from a cask and a cask carrying rack.SOLUTION: A vibration control apparatus 10 for a cask comprises a ring-shaped vibration control container 11 having a cask opening 12 on which a cask 1 is placed. The vibration control container 11 is formed by connection of a plurality of divided frame parts 11a, 11b divided in a circumferential direction with a connection mechanism 20. The vibration control container 11 has an inner space for housing a heavy load for vibration control, and is placed on a cask carrying rack 2 in a state where the cask 1 is placed in the cask opening 12.
