Producing fiber-composite semifinished product (10) for a fiber-reinforced plastic component, comprises (a) applying a resin (20) on a fiber mat (12) and supplying it to a rolling device (18), (b) enclosing the fiber mat with a film (22), (c) pressing the fiber mat using the rolling device, and (d) sealing the film on longitudinal sides of the fiber mat, and evacuating the fiber mat impregnated with the resin.
