The freewheel (4) has an actuating device adapted for high load movements relative to an elastic unit. The elastic unit with biasing torque allows free-run movement between a driving cage and a switching cage (15). The driving cage and the switch cage are rotatable relative to a spring unit against biasing force when switching in the freewheeling direction. The spring unit comprises multiple preloaded compression springs that are clamped between the switching cage and the driving cage along circumferential direction.
