PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a system loss in a configuration for switching between PWM control and rectangular wave control in a control apparatus for a rotary electric machine drive system including a magnetic flux variable type rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: A control apparatus 10 comprises: a mode switching section 54 for switching between a PWM control mode and a rectangular wave control mode; and a magnetic flux amount setting section 56 for setting a preset magnetic flux amount corresponding to a rotating speed and a torque command value from magnetic flux amount maps 16, 18 in which a relation between a rotating speed/torque command value of a rotary electric machine 20 and the preset magnetic flux amount of a rotor 32 is preset. Regarding the relation between the rotating speed/torque command value and the preset magnetic flux amount, the magnetic flux amount maps 16, 18 have such a relation that the preset magnetic flux amount decreases as the rotating speed increases, the preset magnetic flux amount increases as the torque command value increases, and in the vicinity of magnetic flux switching boundaries S1, S2 of a mode switching boundary L1, the preset magnetic flux amount increases discontinuously in response to the increase of the rotating speed. |
