The invention concerns a foodstuff conveyor apparatus (1) comprising a foodstuff inlet (3), a foodstuff outlet (5), a conveyor chamber (7) arranged between the inlet (3) and the outlet (5), and a conveyor screw (9) extending in the conveyor chamber (7). According to the invention it is proposed that the conveyor screw has an inlet-side spindle portion (11), an outlet-side spindle portion (13) and a spindle-free portion (15) separating the spindle portions (11, 13). The invention further concerns a method of conveying a foodstuff. |
