PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which facilitates a clear handwriting input containing a handwriting character within a blanc area in an electronic document, and a display program.SOLUTION: A display device includes: a display part for displaying a document image in which layout editing is limited on a display area; an input reception part for receiving a handwriting input in the display area; a comparison part for comparing the sizes of a drawing area occupied by a handwriting image acquired by the handwriting input and a blanc area in the display area at the time of handwriting input; and a display switching part for switching a first mode for displaying the handwriting image in the blanc area as it is and a second mode for displaying the handwriting image in the blanc area in a mode different from the first mode according to a comparison result of the comparison part. |
