PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery terminal capable of maintaining a state of a holding part outwardly fitted into a battery post, even if external force generated upon or after fixing of a wire to a wire connecting part is transferred to the holding part. SOLUTION: The battery terminal is provided with: a holding part 20 of a ring shape with an end to be fitted into the battery post 50 having a tapered outer periphery face with its diameter gradually getting smaller toward a top end side; a pair of fastening piece parts 30 extended in opposition from both ends of the holding part 20, respectively; a wire connecting part 11 integrally prepared to the holding part 20 for the wire to be connected; and a fastener for fastening the pair of fastening piece parts 30 in a direction coming near each other.
