PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a six-blade ball end mill capable of improving processing accuracy and the cutting edge service life even in high feed processing, while maintaining easiness-to-form-a cutting edge and excellent chip discharge performance in the tip vicinity of an end mill body. SOLUTION: Six ball blades 7 in a semispherical shape with the center on the axis O in a rotational locus around the axis O, are formed at an interval in the peripheral direction in a tip of the end mill body 1 rotated around the axial O. Among these six ball blades 7, three ball blades 7 at every other blade in the peripheral direction are formed of a long ball blade 7A crossed on the axis O on the tip of the end mill body 1, and residual three ball blades 7 are formed of a short ball blade 7B having the inner peripheral end P in a position separated from the axis O.
