A communication system for a vehicle is provided. The disclosed system comprises: an antenna unit; a signal processing unit for converting an RF signal received from the antenna unit into a baseband signal; an external antenna mounted outside the vehicle; a control module for providing a control signal to the signal processing unit and for outputting the output signal of the signal processing unit as sounds or images; and a cable for connecting the external antenna and the control module which is a path for transmitting a digital signal outputted from the signal processing unit and the control signal. According to the disclosed system, the communication system for the vehicle including a good signal quality with low costs can be provided, and a user does not necessarily have to use an expensive RF cable.
