<p>The invention relates to a device for filling rectangular cans (33) with a fibre band (3) or roving. The device comprises a rotary plate (7, 31) above the can (33), a band channel (6) arranged in the rotary plate (7, 31) and means for the translational movement of the can (33), wherein the end of the band channel (6), which is facing the can (33), is arranged eccentrically to a rotational axis (8) of the rotary plate (7, 31). The rotary plate (7, 31) can be set by a drive in a rotational movement (9) about the rotational axis (8). Cans (33) having a length ratio (A/B) of 3 or less, preferably 2 or less, in particular preferably 1.5, can be filled and the translational movement of the can (33) during filling can be carried out in two axes (42, 43) which are perpendicular to one another, the axes (42, 43) being arranged at a right angle to the rotational axis (8) of the rotary plate (7, 31).</p> |
