PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with an offload data transfer function to improve the efficiency of resource consumption when releasing an area.SOLUTION: An information processor 1 includes a control unit 3 and accepts an offload data transfer instruction from a host computer 13 to generate transfer source information 4a by transfer source information generation processing 4. In response to acceptance of an area release instruction for a release area 11, the control unit 3 responds the completion to the release instruction and then generates a reservation state 5a for reserving the release of a duplicate area 12 by reservation state generation processing 5. The control unit 3 determines a suspension state in which execution of data transfer using the transfer source information 4a is possible, by suspension state determination processing 6. The control unit 3 releases the duplicate area 12 of which the release is reserved by the reservation state 5a, by area release processing 7 if the suspension state is released. |
