REINFORCING FIBER SHEET FOR VaRTM, FIBER REINFORCED PLASTIC STRUCTURE-MOLDING METHOD, AND FIBER REINFORCED PLASTIC STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing fiber sheet for VaRTM(Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Molding) and an FRP structure molding method, capable of maintaining good resin impregnation property without losing fluidity of an injection resin, in the molding of an FRP structure by a VaRTM method, and thereby capable of improving productivity of molding, in the molding of the FRP structure by the VaRTM method.SOLUTION: A reinforcing fiber sheet 10 for use in a VaRTM method is characterized by: forming reinforcing fiber bundles 11 by bundling up fabric strands 14 formed by aligning and converging a large number of reinforcing fibers 11 in one direction with covering yarns 15 along a longitudinal direction of the strands 14; forming a reinforcing fiber bundle layer 12 by aligning a large number of reinforcing fiber bundles 11 in parallel and very closely each other along the longitudinal direction; and making the reinforcing fiber bundle layer 12 be formed into an integrated sheet-like form by fusion-bonding the covering yarns 15 to the fabric strands 14 adjacent to each other by heating and pressing the reinforcing fiber bundle layer.
