PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen-containing gas generator capable of precisely controlling a ratio of raw fuel and steam to be supplied to a reformer.SOLUTION: In a hydrogen-containing gas generator, when a feed rate of raw fuel to a reformer 2 and a feed rate of water to a steam generator 6 are both increased for the purpose of increasing a generation rate of a hydrogen-containing gas, the feed rate of water to the steam generator 6 is increased before the feed rate of raw fuel to the reformer 2 is increased. A pressure detector 12 is installed to detect a pressure value which is used to estimate a steam rate supplied to the reformer 2 from the steam generator 6. When the generation rate of the hydrogen-containing gas is intended to be increased in the reformer 2, reformer control means 13a determines a timing to increase the feed rate of raw fuel to the reformer 2 based on a detection result of the pressure detector 12 after increasing the feed rate of water to the steam generator 6. |
