PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient compact magnetic fluid drive.SOLUTION: In a magnetic fluid drive including a circulation passage filled with a magnetic fluid, and a heating part and a magnetic field applying part in the circulation passage, a permanent magnet is used for applying a magnetic field in the magnetic field applying part, magnetic field distribution in a direction parallel with the passage has a maximum value and a minimum value, and the absolute value of minimum value of the inversion component of a magnetic field is less than the maximum value. In a specific configuration of the magnetic field applying part, a pair of permanent magnets having an easy axis of magnetization perpendicular to the direction of passage are disposed toward the passage, so that the pole faces facing the passage are different from each other. |
