PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine capable of making the rotational frequency of a drum motor reach a target rotational frequency in a short time and the vibration of a rotary drum and a water tub generated during increasing the rotational frequency of the drum motor is small.SOLUTION: The CPU 70 controls an operation of an inverter circuit 52 to determine whether the acceleration of a water tub detected by an acceleration sensor 22 is equal to or greater than a threshold value or not over time when increasing a rotational frequency of a drum motor 4 for rotating a rotary drum in a water tub at a first rise rate. When the CPU 70 determines that the acceleration read from the acceleration sensor 22 is equal to or greater than the threshold value, the CPU 70 reduces a rise rate of a rotational frequency of the drum motor 4 from the first rise rate to a second rise rate. |
