PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device configured to prevent start of processing to be required in returning from power-saving mode to normal mode from being delayed without increasing signal lines connecting control parts.SOLUTION: In an image forming device, when first processing is performed by an engine CPU 141 after a return request is made, a main CPU 111 sets a first level for a signal line SL2 to output the return request, while setting a second level for the signal line SL2 when second processing is performed. The engine CPU 141 determines the first or second processing to be performed on the basis of the level of the signal line SL2 after the return request is made. |
