PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide rail facilitating fitting a movable rail to a fixed rail and having good slide operability, and an image forming apparatus including it.SOLUTION: A slide rail includes: a fixed rail 62; ball retainers 64, 65 provided in the fixed rail 62 and provided to freely slide by disposing ball bearings 66 on both sides; a movable rail disposed in the fixed rail 62 and fitted to the ball retainers 64, 65 to be freely slid by the ball bearings 66. The moving rail is configured to insert and withdraw to and from the fixed rail 62. A plurality of retainers 64, 65 are provided in a longitudinal direction of the fixed rail 62, and one of them is a guide retainer 64 disposed at an end on a front side of the fixed rail 62. |
