PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage of a liquid crystal display panel by suppressing the reduction in strength of a frame.SOLUTION: Adjacent light emitting components 30 in different groups Gand Gadjacent to each other are not connected in series but are arranged apart from each other. Adjacent light emitting components 30 in the same group Gor Gare disposed nearer to each other than adjacent light emitting components 30 in the different groups Gand Gadjacent to each other. A frame 32 has a plurality of recesses 46 which are recessed from an inner peripheral surface facing a light guide plate 24 and are recessed also from a surface opposite to a liquid crystal display panel 10. Relatively projecting projections 48 are formed between adjacent recesses 46. Light emitting components 30 in the plurality of groups Gand Gare housed in the plurality of recesses 46 so that light emitting components 30 in one group Gor Gare housed in one recess 46. The projections 48 are located between adjacent light emitting components 30 in groups Gand Gadjacent to each other. |
