The device has a sleeve comprising a back portion (21) to receive a syringe with a needle (8) partially and a front portion (24) provided with a final section (25) traversed by an opening (27). The opening is arranged for passage of the needle. A front face (26) of the final section is intended to be applied with pressure against a skin (P) of a patient before introduction of the needle into the skin. The front face of the final section is arranged to receive an active substance (31) of desensitization for the skin. The active substance is an anesthetic substance and a cooling substance, and is form of gel.
