Provided is a rubber composition for tires, which is suited to the recycling-oriented society and is still capable of providing a tire member and a pneumatic tire that have low fuel consumption and wet grip performance (especially, wet grip performance) equivalent to those of tire members and pneumatic tires that are obtained using conventional synthetic rubbers. The present invention relates to a rubber composition for tires, which contains a biomass-derived rubber that is obtained by polymerizing an aromatic vinyl and a diene and has a pMC (percent Modern Carbon) of 1% or more as determined in accordance with ASTMD 6866-10.
