A perforated vehicle sun visor or light filtering curtain has a quincunx pattern of holes therein of from 0À5 to 1À5 mm. diameter distanced apart 1À5 to 4 mm. respectively. In Fig. 2, a usual visor 7 has visors 8<SP>1</SP> and 8<SP>11</SP> constructed according to the invention fastened thereto by crocodile clamps 10, Figs. 5 and 6 (not shown). The visors 8 are hinged at 9 but 8<SP>1</SP> may not be hinged up without 8<SP>11</SP> due to the overlapping of 8<SP>1</SP> at the division 12, the screen 8 may however fully replace the visor 9 and be directly hinged to the vehicle body. In Fig. 7, and Figs. 8-10 (not shown), the screen is shown as a side curtain having an adjustable flexible strap 33 at the bottom. In Fig. 11, there are two curtains 46 which may be raised from or lowered into a spring return roller 44 fastened at 41 to the inner waist of the vehicle. Hooked tongues 57 on the curtains are adapted to be engaged in slits 65, Fig. 16 of plate members 61 pivoted to an upper window frame member 4 provided with stop shoulders 64.
