PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a conventional power generation device for charging a mobile phone, which is a device generating power by using a battery power supply and a solar panel or by a manual continuous operation by human power, cannot charge even a mobile phone indispensable when no material is replenished and during night and busy time in disaster.SOLUTION: A power generation device includes a weight, a chain for suspending the weight, a chain gear having a structure restricting the rotating direction, to be engaged with the chain, an adjustment device for adjusting a rotating speed of the chain gear, a gear device for increasing the rotating speed of the chain gear, and a power generator generating electric power. The device generates electric power by utilizing energy when the weight falls. The device can eliminate the need for a material, natural energy, and a continuous operation by human power, and can be used even at night. |
