[Problem] To prevent deterioration in a lead-acid battery to prolong battery life while using a simple circuit configuration, and to efficiently charge the battery system with vehicle-generated electricity and feed the charged electricity to a vehicle-side load to improve fuel efficiency. [Solution] This vehicular battery system is configured by connecting a sub-battery (2) to a lead-acid battery (1) in parallel, and in this system, the charging resistance (r2) of the sub-battery (2) is set to be lower than the charging resistance (r1) of the lead-acid battery (1). |
