PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block polymer having good electric contact with an electrode.SOLUTION: A block polymer has conductivity and includes at least two kinds of blocks. At least one of the blocks is composed of a mono-substituted helical polyacetylene having a helical structure in the main chain and a side chain substituted with an aromatic five-membered ring or six-membered ring. Out of the atoms constituting the five-membered ring or six-membered ring skeleton, two atoms bonded to an atom directly bonded to a carbon atom of the main chain are bonded to only any of the atoms constituting the five-membered ring or six-membered ring skeleton.
