PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing machine and method for an optical fiber cable that can simply and correctly form a securing section to hold the optical fiber ribbons or their edges of tape ribbons guided by an assembly dies into the spacer slot and easily finish the lead-out job of the cable. SOLUTION: This optical fiber cable manufacturing machine 51 is for manufacturing an optical fiber cable 1 whose optical fiber core wires 7, 8 are put in a slot 5 of a spacer 3.
