The present invention relates to a magnesium extrusion wire correcting device for correcting twisting and bending generated in extrusion by stretching a magnesium extrusion wire by rapidly heating the magnesium extrusion wire at a temperature which is capable of plasticizing, and a correcting method. The magnesium extrusion wire correcting device comprises: a power supplying device for applying direct current, alternating current, or high frequency power; a copper wire which is composed of a closed circuit by serially connecting a magnesium extrusion wire and the power supplying device, and allows a current to flow to the magnesium extrusion wire when power is applied to the power supplying device; and a grip pulling device for pulling the magnesium extrusion wire toward the direction where the magnesium extrusion wire is extended while current flows from the power supplying device to the magnesium extrusion wire, by gripping both ends or one end of the magnesium extrusion wire. |
