PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support device for a seismic isolator capable of performing seismic isolation to test research facility equipment and scientific equipment supported by the test research equipment at the time when an earthquake occurs, and capable of avoiding an impact between these equipment and a seismic isolator, and an operator; and provide a seismic isolator having the support device.SOLUTION: A support device 2 for a seismic isolator comprises: a plurality of fixation parts 5 extending in parallel with each other in a direction of separating from a wall surface W, and arranged on a floor surface F; and a plurality of movable parts 6 in which an installation surface (portion) 6a on which a seismic isolator is installed is arranged, and which is supported in a relatively movable manner only in a direction of approaching the wall surface W with respect to each fixation part 5.
