<p>A system and a method for providing product meta information combined with TV content in a smart TV environment are disclosed. Provided is a system for linking a virtual object to video content. The system comprises: a content server configured to provide an N-screen service for video content; a first terminal configured to request, to the content server, the N-screen service for video content being played on a TV to play the same video content as the video content on the TV, to provide an annotation function for the video content, and to annotate metadata input by the annotation function on an object of interest included in the video content; a management server configured to store and maintain the metadata annotated by the first terminal with respect to the video content; and a second terminal configured to request, to the content server, the N-screen service for the video content being played on the TV to play the same video content as the video content on the TV, to access the management server to search the metadata related to the video content, to overlap and display the metadata with the video content, and to connect a service linked to the metadata when the metadata is selected.</p> |
