The invention relates to a pump, in particular a centrifugal pump (1), with a pump housing (2), wherein a motor shaft (5), which is connected to a pump impeller (6) arranged in the pump housing (2), extends through a shaft passage (4) in a rear wall (3) of the pump housing (2) and is mounted in the rear wall (3) by means a mechanical seal arrangement (8). In order to ensure a high accuracy of fit of a seal seat even over a long service life,the seal seat (9) of the mechanical seal arrangement (8) is formed in a ring-shaped protector (10) that is made from a corrosion-resistant material and is fixedly arranged in the shaft passage (4) of the rear wall (3). |
