A dishwasher is provided to improve external appearance and get rid of possibility of danger of burning by installing a heater at the periphery of the bottom of a washing tub. A dishwasher comprises a main body having a washing tube inside, a heater(31) heating washing water, and heater covers(32). The heater is installed at the periphery of the bottom of the washing tub. The heater covers, which are mounted at the periphery of the bottom of the washing tub not to expose the heater, are shaped like a 'c' type whose longitudinal section is opened to insert the heater and consist of clamps(33) for fixing the heater. The washing tub has a front surface opened to draw out dishes forward. The heater and a heater mounting member are installed along the periphery of the washing tub other than the opened longitudinal section. |
