PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize power saving of an electronic device which receives an instruction by radio signals.SOLUTION: An electronic device comprises: a control unit; a radio unit; and a storage unit. The control unit starts the radio unit at the predetermined start time. The radio unit inquires of a radio base station whether there is a message for the electronic device, and if there is a message for the electronic device, receives the message from the radio base station. If the message received by the radio unit is a deletion instruction message, the control unit executes deletion processing on data stored in the storage unit, and if the message received by the radio unit is not the deletion instruction message or if there is no message for the electronic device, the control unit stops the radio unit. |
