PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize power consumption when a braking force under BH control is generated using both a hydraulic brake and EPB.SOLUTION: Information concerning a traffic light is acquired and a vehicular stop prediction time T3 is computed. Whichever of a hydraulic brake 2 and EPB 3 should be used to generate a braking force for the purpose of reducing power consumption is decided. Accordingly, under the BH control, if both the hydraulic brake 2 and EPB 3 are used to generate the braking force so as to implement BH, either the hydraulic brake or EPB that can reduce the power consumption more greatly can be selected. |
