A display device comprises a light guide plate for guiding light to be outputted; a backlight unit including a light source unit for supplying light to the light guide plate; a display panel for receiving the light from the backlight unit to display an image; and a bottom chassis for containing the backlight unit and the display panel. The bottom chassis includes a bottom part in which the backlight unit and the display panel are mounted, a plurality of side surfaces which are extended from the bottom part to be bent toward the display panel, and at least one flange which is extended from at least one of the side surfaces to be bent, wherein the bottom surface can have a stress solving member which is capable of preventing stress applied to the flange from being transmitted to the display panel.
