PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to energy saving by storing regenerative electric power of a motor without waste as much as possible.SOLUTION: A lifting device includes a motor 17 which performs a power running to elevate a vehicle 2 and a regenerative operation to generate regenerative electric power by lowering the vehicle 2, power supply means 23, power storage means 32 for the regenerative electric power, operation means 37 receiving a power running/regenerative operation type, power storage amount detection means 33, 34 of detecting the power storage amount of the power storage means 32, and control means 36 of controlling the motor 17 based upon an operation type signal and a power storage amount signal. The control means 36 performs control to supply electric power of the power storage means 32 preferentially to of the power supply means 23 to the motor 17 in the power running and to compensate for a deficiency in power storage amount of the power storage means 32 by supplying electric power of the power supply means 23 to the motor 17 in combination when the power storage amount of the power storage means 32 is not enough for a predetermined power running action. When the deficiency in electric power of the power storage means 32 is predicted, the control means performs control to supplementarily charge the power storage means 32 by the power supply means 23 before the power running is started. |
