<p>The invention relates to a process for activating the LiFe(PO)/γ-alumina catalyst employed in the n-butanol isomerization. According to the invention, the process consists in chemically treating the catalyst with plasma, in a hydrogen or oxygen atmosphere, at a plasma-forming gas pressure of 0.8...1 torr, a current intensity of 150 mA and a voltage of 1800 V, leading to an increase of active centres number by 170...1300% and enhancing the dispersion degree on the catalyst surface, the selectivity and operation stability thereof.</p> |
