Plate filter comprises sectors (3) with a filter element and connected to each other along the longitudinal edges and to a hollow shaft (1). The sectors have profiled guides on the longitudinal edges facing the neighboring sectors. The guides interlock with each other using a connecting element. An independent claim is also included for a sector used in the above plate filter.
