PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of erecting an elevator guide rail that without requiring a complicated and expensive component processing, can reduce a load being applied to guide rails positioned in a lower area when erecting the guide rails, and prevent the rails from being curved as much as possible.SOLUTION: In the method of erecting an elevator guide rail, a plurality of rails with a predetermined unit length are joined with volts to connecting plates 11 and firmly connected, after thin plates are inserted into the connection parts, which are applied pulling-up tension using a lifting device 12 or a traction fixture 13 so as to remove influence on downward force of weight thereof; and the plurality of rails are fastened with rail clip volts 6 to rail clips 5 attached to rail brackets 4 provided on predetermined positions between the floors on the wall surface of a hoistway to be fastened to the wall surface of the hoistway, and then the thin plates are pulled out to make tiny gaps at the connection parts of the rails. |
