PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing particles which can prevent mutual cohesion of droplets after discharging the droplets and manufacture particles having a narrow particle diameter distribution.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing particles includes a droplet forming process for forming droplets by discharging a resin composition containing at least a resin and a solvent from at least one discharge hole, and a particle forming process for forming particles by drying the droplets to solidify the same. The droplet forming process includes a first air current applying treatment for applying a first air current to the droplets discharged from the discharge hole from a direction substantially orthogonal to a discharge direction of the resin composition from the discharge hole, and a second air current supplying treatment for supplying a second air current to a direction closer to the discharge direction than the downstream direction of the first air current in a first air current channel where the first air current flows.
