PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a washing and drying machine which performs the effect of deodorizing, disinfecting and suppressing mold on laundry of clothes and the like in necessary and sufficient operation time, which eliminates wasteful electric energy and time, and which improves safety of a user.SOLUTION: A washing and drying machine includes: a motor 4 for rotationally driving a washing tub 2; a heat pump unit 12 for heating air in an outer tub 3; a blower unit 9 for force-feeding and circulating air in an air flow path 11; an electrostatic atomization unit 13 for supplying electrostatic atomization generated particles and ozone into the outer tub 3; an ozone sensor 15 for detecting concentration of ozone in the air flow path 11; and control means for controlling them. In the washing and drying machine, the control means terminates an operation when a concentration value of ozone detected by the ozone sensor 15 becomes larger than a set value, in an electrostatic atomization step in which deodorizing and disinfecting of the laundry and suppressing mold in the washing tub 2 are performed by driving the electrostatic atomization unit 13 and the blower unit 9; thereby, the problem is solved. |
