PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method in which when producing a resin-coated metal particle using a metal particle as a nuclear particle, direct contact with air of a surface of the metal particle is avoided, a coating amount of a resin can be easily adjusted by an operation in an aqueous solvent, further when a metal particle easily oxidized is used as a metal particle, oxidation of a surface of the metal particle is suppressed, and a resin-coated metal particle can be produced by a simple operation.SOLUTION: In a method of producing a resin-coated metal particle in which a surface of a metal particle is coated with a resin, a hydrolyzability coupling agent having a polymerizable group is used as a coupling agent, the coupling agent is hydrolyzed in an aqueous medium, an obtained hydrolysis solution of the coupling agent, a metal particle and a fluid dispersion of the same are mixed under the existence of a detergent, and a monomer component is polymerized in an obtained mixture. |
