PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell module having improved antiglare performance and photoelectric conversion characteristic.SOLUTION: Provided is a solar cell module including a glass plate body whose surface is macroscopically flat and a photoelectric conversion unit and generating electricity in the photoelectric conversion unit by entering light from the glass plate body into the photoelectric conversion unit. An area on the surface of the glass plate body corresponding to the photoelectric conversion unit is substantially filled with minute recesses, each recess being generally elliptic in a planar shape. When an approximate ellipse is assumed which is a minimal elliptic shape among ellipses of a size into which the whole of the recess fits, the minor axis of the approximate ellipse is 3 μm to 50 μm inclusive, a ratio of the major axis to the minor axis is 1.1 to 10 inclusive, and the approximate ellipse is shaped so that the center section is deeper than the periphery and the periphery is gradually inclined, ellipses of such shape accounting for the majority of the area. An arithmetic average roughness of the surface of the glass plate body is 0.35 μm to 10 μm inclusive. |
