Energy management apparatus (1) includes: algorithm storage unit (1b) configured to store at least one energy-saving control algorithm; controller (1c) configured to control an operation of controlled device (2) by executing the algorithm and; data storage unit (1e) configured to store reduction information corresponding to the algorithm, the reduction information used to figure out a reduction in energy consumption due to the execution of the algorithm; estimation unit (1d) configured to estimate the reduction in the energy consumption due to the execution of the algorithm on the basis of the reduction information, when controller (1c) controls the operation of controlled device (2) by executing the algorithm; and network communication unit (la) configured to output the estimation result.
