PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for installing a camera in an elevator that can install the camera in the vicinity of a ceiling of an elevator car without remodeling an existing elevator car.SOLUTION: The device for installing a camera in an elevator comprises a frame 15 for installing a camera 25, for imaging the inside of an elevator car 1, in the vicinity of a ceiling 7 of the elevator car 1. The elevator car 1 has handrails 12a and 12b provided on upright lateral walls 5a and 5b. The frame 15 includes a first frame element 16 and a second frame element 17. The first frame element 16 is fastened to the handrails 12a and 12b and stood along the lateral walls 5a and 5b. The second frame element 17 extends along the ceiling 7 from the upper end of the first frame element 16, and the camera 25 is installed on the second frame element 17. |
