PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frictional resistance reducing ship dispensing with formation of through holes on a ship bottom and facilitating maintenance work.SOLUTION: During navigation, air from a compressed air source 5 is sent into an air blowout section 4 via a hollow arm 2 or a tube introduced into the hollow arm 2, and the air sent into the air blowout section 4 is discharged as fine air bubbles from a slit toward a ship bottom surface to lighten frictional resistance. In the case of lifting the hollow arm 2 from the water surface, a motor is driven to rotate a horizontal shaft via a drive gear and a driven gear. With the rotation of the horizontal shaft, the hollow arm 2 rotates in a counter-clockwise direction by 120°, the hollow arm 2 separates from the bottom surface of a ship body, and can be maintained above the water surface. In the case of further performing maintenance, a table is rotated by 180° about a vertical shaft, and the hollow arm 2 and the air blowout section 4 are moved to an easy-to-work position on a deck 1. |
