PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame structure capable of moving a mobile object with high accuracy in a recording device including a recording head and the mobile object, and a recording device having the frame structure.SOLUTION: A frame structure includes a guide frame 30 for guiding the moving direction of a carriage 21, and a fixed frame 40 to which the guide frame is fixed. In the guide frame, a rail part 31 is formed by a plate member extending in the moving direction of the carriage and configured to support the carriage to be movable in the moving direction. In the fixed frame, at the end of the rail part in the moving direction of the carriage, a connection member 51 is disposed between a vertical part 41 to which the guide frame is fixed and the horizontal part 42 of the fixed frame away from the vertical part in a direction intersecting the moving direction of the carriage, and a first reinforcing part 50 is formed to compensate for rigidity reduction caused by a notched part SP disposed for carriage insertion when the carriage is supported on the rail part. |
